It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I finally (almost) finished putting up my Christmas decor. It's taken almost two days to finish up. We've been in and out since K has been off work since Tues.
But, I'm not complaining. I get seriously depressed this time of year. I've cried more times than I want to admit over the past 3 days. Not having my family anymore and then his sucks big ole donkey dick. *sigh* It's just depressing.
We never even heard from his family all day Thanksgiving. Still haven't.

Anyway, the reason of my post is this, PICTURES! ;) I don't have any pics of my tree yet. It just got finished late last night.

So....Here we go...

I need one more stocking. Actually I want to make my own since I can't find any that I actually like.

What I'm thankful for.

My husband. He is my rock. I honestly don't know where I'd be with out him. He has stood beside me through thick and thin. And while my weight went from thin to thick! lol Sorry had to. ;)

I'm also thankful that I found my BFF again. I missed her like crazy the past 6 years. And although she drives me nuts some days, I don't think I'd chance losing her again.

I'm also thankful that during this economy crisis my husbands job is still 100% intact.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!

I deleted my last post. Seems that BFF decided to post on a certain website known for snarky bitches and she got a new asshole ripped.

So I really dont want my blog to be posted everywhere and the snarky bitches of the world wide web to rip it to pieces. So I deleted.

Hubby's Christmas Present

I started on K's Christmas present today. I'm making him a blanket. :D He told me that he wanted a black blanket with the Honda emblem on it.

Well, I figured it was absolutely impossible to do. I searched online for a pattern, but of course there wasn't one. Then I found Crochet Patterns etc on Etsy! I commissioned her to make me a pattern. She had it to me in just a few minutes. She's wonderful!

So I started on it today. I've only gotten 5 rows of the first 51 done so far. :P I've got a long way to go. 250 rows to be exact! lol

O' Christmas Tree

Well, I saw my first Christmas tree up last night. I just can't get over how people are putting their trees up so early.

I refuse to put mine up until after Thanksgiving. So, seeing and hearing about people already decorating is driving me insane. I want! lol

I know I'm not posting a lot right now. I'm just blah right now. I'm trying to focus on my crocheting and getting our etsy off the ground.

That's not going so well either. I'm scared people don't like what we are selling. I have another scarf that I'm working on right now. It's the same pink as my brown and pink. Just a different stitch.

I have another one that I've been eying. I want to try my hand at it. It looks so cute! I can't wait to see how it turns out. lol Or if it turns out. After that I want to try to do a beanie hate. Preferably a child's that looks like a bear. Just the ears though, not the eyes and all that. ;)

Paranoia

I'm not sure if I'm just a paranoid freak or me being burned so many times, but I wonder if some of my friends are actually that.

I hate feeling like people talk to me to just be nice. I always feel like the black sheep.

I have a hard enough time trusting people as it is, but when no one shows that much interest in your life it just makes you wonder.

Meal Planning

I am having the hardest time coming up with new meals lately. If it sounds good on paper, doesn't mean it will be good as the final product. So I'm kinda iffy on trying new things out.

It's also making it a lot harder meeting these meal planning goals of mine (5 meals a week) since groceries have gone up so much. I'm trying to find inexpensive meals that taste good.

This is what I'm doing this week.

Tonight: Tacos ~ tried and true ;)
Monday: Ham, veggies and a pasta
Tuesday: Sausage & Biscuits
Wednesday: Chicken Fajitas
Thursday: Pancakes & Sausage
Friday: ~TDB~

I usually don't cook on Fridays but I'm trying to stop that. Eating out on the weekends is getting old too.

We Cheer Review

OK. So, I begged and pleaded and my husband bought me the game. I am freaking loving it! I wasn't so sure about it last night since I sucked so bad at it. Today, I kick ass in it. It does take a min to get use to it. To watch the cheerleader instead of the other thingies.

I played it for about 30 mins tonight and um, well, I'm totally out of shape!! Seriously my arms were burning. FEEL THE BURN! lol

I dont care if you are 10 or 100, this game kicks ass.

Finally!

My fall weather disappeared this week. It's been right at 80 degrees every day. Yes, it's absolutely gorgeous but I miss my cool weather. I had to turn the air back on since it kept getting so stuffy during the day in here.

Well, there is suppose to be another cold front moving in Friday. Yay!

This time change shit is for the birds. For realz! This has got to be the longest freaking day.

Gimp, it's like photoshop but free. I love free stuff. It makes me happy. :)

So I've decided to download it and give fixing some of my pics and making banners a try. Try being the key word here. I do not understand all of the mumbo jumbo crap they are talking about and trying to find a good tutorial online is like pulling teeth.

I did find one but just one. So I decided to give it a try. I took my last blanket pic and "fixed" it. So now here's the new pic.
