K's birthday

I love spoiling my husband. It's my job.

This year was no different. I've been researching HD tv's for quite a while now. We've wanted one for quite a while now. lol

We got up for his birthday and headed to Sears. I told him he had a $50 limit. Use it wisely. I kept hinting at going to electronics to look at movies or a game. He reluctantly headed that way and never ventured over to the tvs. I swear. lol I try to hint and the boy just doesn't get it.

So I just flat out walk over there and start looking. We looked around for about an hour before deciding on one.

We got the LG 42". Its quite nice. lol We went through absolute HELL to actually purchase it but it was/is worth it.

Of course we immediately came home, hooked it up and watched Avatar on BluRay.

Heathers 2

So someone around Hollywood has been planting bugs in peoples ears about doing a Heathers 2. Seriously I'm all for it. It was the first movie that made me fall deeply and madly in love with Christian Slater. Yes he was a little crazy in that movie but that's what made me love him even more. LOL

I just hope it doesnt turn out like Lost Boys 2. That movie sucked big ole donkey balls. Seriously. I was NOT happy!

OH and doesn't Christian Slater's new show come on this week? Have I missed it already?

Weekend Recap

I think we are the most boring people alive right now lol Not much went on to justify a recap but I'll write it out anyway. :)

Friday K took off work to get a few things done, basically he was ready for a long weekend. He went searching for parts for his new project car and I went to work. Once I got off we were going to see a movie but decided to wait for a later showing so we can go eat Mexican. So good! Love me some Mexican food!
We left there and met up with a friend that was getting his tattoos. (yes plural) I was so ready to get one I could feel it! (see post below)
Well since we sat around there forever we were too late to see Death Race. I have a huge phobia of walking into an already dark theater. I have a tendency to bust my ass. Mix that with a theater full of people and I just can't do it.
So instead, we saw The Dark Night. Eh. It was good but not 3 hours worth of my time good. It was only us and one other guy in the theater. Gotta love going in the middle of the day. :P
Oh let me tell you, since the movie was so damn long, the guy in front of us goes to get up and obviously either his leg or ass or something was asleep. He stands up and wobbles. Literally, wobbles, like a newborn horse. Well my loud ass husband says "Did you see that guy almost bust his ass?" OMG I'm not sure if I was ready to fall off my seat from embarrassment or from pure laughter. I know the guy heard him. We were the only ones in there. So he goes to walk down the steps and stops, grabs the railing and spins around. Whatever it was, was dead asleep. He couldnt walk. Y'all I almost lost it. I dont think it would have been that funny if he didnt jump up like ass on fire as soon as it was over.
We left there and we to visit his uncle and then my step sister that has a week old newborn. ♥ She's so pretty!

Saturday was nothing for me. My husband left me all alone so he could go ride 4 wheelers with the boys. I wasnt happy but I can't deny him, so off he went. All day.

Sunday, we sat around most of the day. Worrying if we should go stock up for Gustav. Glad we didnt. Gustav was a bust for us. Yay ☺ That makes me happy though. Did get our pool in the beginning stages of draining it. K got the back yard cut. That was about it. Nothing special.

Monday, Gustav hit. It was a rainy mess. We did venture out to Wal-Mart. Never go to wally world bored. You spend lots of money you dont need to. And of course, last night was the night my computer screen got screwed up. I woke up this morning, started my computer and the entire thing was gone. Weird shade of gray. I was pissed. After it warmed up for a while it came back up but I was freaking until then. I still only have 3/4 a computer screen so all of my windows are just shrunk. :( That makes me sad.

Oh and I go to walk my mail to the mail box, step outside and almost bust my ass. Damn Gustav and his never ending rain has gotten my front porch drenched. So as soon as I walked out, my first step I slid. :( It hurt.

So that's my update for the weekend and a little update from this morning. How was yours? Anything good?

Rock Band owns me.

Seriously. I had a blast last night. We had friends over, cooked hamburgers on the grill, played rock band and watched a movie.

We found a cheat that allowed us to unlock all the songs. Well, seeing how Enter Sandman is one of our all time faves we just had to give it a shot. OMG I've never laughed so hard at my husband and Brian. They didnt have a shot in the dark of accomplishing this last night.
They switched equipment to see if the other could do better on the drums instead of the guitar. Nope. Both equally sucked! lol
Switch again, me on drums, Brian on guitar. We got up to 81% before we were booed off. LOL

We then watched Step Up 2

First, I want this girls body. For reals. She's a knock out. Secondly, I want to learn to dance like this. It's fucking HAWT! The last dance scene, whoamygawd! LOVEd it!
Of course the acting could stand to be upgraded a little but who cares how they act when you're focusing on the dance moved and the ripped abs all over the place. :D

We finally crashed at 1 this morning. Had a blast! Thanks J&B!

Bad weekend

Everything fell apart. It sucked. The End.

OK Sorta. ;) We watched movies on and off all weekend. 2 out of the 3 movies bombed. We watched Fool's Gold Friday night and it was so cute! I loved the movie. Definitely some LOL moments.
We then watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. It was horrible. The disk started messing up on me so I just cut it off.
Next came Mr. Woodcock. O.M.G. Worst movie I've seen in a while. It was so freaking boring.

Saturday we were suppose to go 4 wheeler riding, well that didnt happen. Every one we know that we ride with didn't go. Well it's not fun by ourselves so we decided to go Sunday instead. Yeah, that didnt happen either.

So then, for Saturday night, we decided to have a rock band party. No one fucking showed up. Seriously we need better friends. Seriously.

Needless to say, I was in a pissy mood most of the weekend. I cheered up Sunday afternoon though. We took a trip to Sam's just to get out for a minute. That helped.

It's a new day. New week. Let's hope it's a lot better. I dont think I can handle another weekend like this past one.

Next weekend we are suppose to go to the mud rally at Timberlanes. They have huge competitions that we won't be participating in but we'll definitely be watching from the side lines.

Hopefully I'll have more to add this week. I know I've been slacking lately. Just not that much to update on.
