Why can't I be crafty?

Seriously all of my friends are crafty. Me on the other hand doesnt have a crafty bone in my body. Which is weird considering I took art for years.
My brain just doesnt work like that. I can't just look at something and say Oh I'd love to turn that into this.

It would come in handy though considering I can't finish decorating my house. I can never figure out what to put what where and when I do figure out what I want I sure as hell can't afford it. LoL Champagne taste on water budget. That's me. ;)
